Access Control System
Security Officers are on duty 24 hours a day. After-hours access to the building and garage is controlled by an electronic security access card system. The building is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. At all other times, building access cards are required for entry into the building and garage.
After Hour Access
A photo access card makes 50 California Street accessible 24 hours a day. Tenant employees who do not possess a valid photo access card will not be admitted after regular building hours without prior approval from the tenant contact. To access the building after hours, tenants are required to pass their photo access card in front of the card reader at the North Davis door to confirm entry authorization and unlock the door. The access card is also required in the elevator after hours to gain access to the tenant’s floor. When leaving, the card is passed in front of the ‘OUT’ reader, located at the security console. Please note that these are ‘proximity’ cards, meaning that the card only needs to be waved within 6” of the reader to register.
There is also an access card reader located at the garage entry for those tenants with monthly parking privileges who need to enter the garage after hours.
Photo Access Cards
Access cards may be obtained at the request of your company’s Authorized Signer, through the Building’s online work order system, Angus Anywhere. Once authorization has been accepted, please go to the Building Office on the 8th Floor, on Tuesday between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm or Thursday between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. A photograph will be taken and a card programmed with the access information. If an access card is lost or damaged, there will be a charge to replace it. Please refer to Tenant Charges.
If you are locked out of your suite during normal business hours, please contact the Building Office. After hours, you will be required to show your building access card to Security. If you do not have a valid building access card, admittance will only be granted upon approval by an Authorized Signer from your company.
